Mission:

To train young people as disciples of Jesus Christ and to establish for them connectional relationships with other late elementary and middle school Christian kids. Sign-in/Sign-out:

Please sign in and sign our your children upon entering and leaving Christ Chapel.

Volunteers:

We are "Parent-Run", and seek the help of any and all parents who share the spiritual and ministry commitments of Pioneer Clubs. See Director Paula Schoonmaker (607-347-4877) or Rev. Steven Felker (607-257-2846).

Servant events:

We are planning on once again storming the mall for old-fashioned Salvation Army bell ringing and singing. We will look for volunteers to help prepare give-away items closer to the date, and also some chaperones! We will also grace our host church with some service work towards the end of the Pioneer year. Ideas welcome!

Snow Days:

If the local schools are closed each leader will be responsible for calling club members to confirm our cancellation. Please also feel free to call your son's/daughter's leader, and check your e-mail for info as well.

Registration Forms

We have a registration form and a health/medical release form. Please download and print these documents. Fill them in and bring them with you to the club kickoff.

Registration fees:

$10.00 per child. For more than 2 children, we will offer a discount. Fees are due at the first club meeting date, October 4, 2007. All Registration fees should be received no later than November 1, 2007. Any new student, or a previous club member who moves onto an older class, will require a Handbook - the cost is $10.00, payable at the first club meeting on 10/4.

Shares (dues):

Kids are encouraged to share what God has loaned to us in the form of shares ($1) which are collected at each club meeting date. If pre-paying at the beginning of the semester, add $15 to the registration fee. This additional money will be used for servant events, overhead (craft) costs and other expenses.

Donations:

We run a very tight ship financially and often are on the lookout for free or low-cost items. Please ask your son's/daughter's group leader if there any specific requests.
